As with all polymeric materials, identifying a composite's physical properties is essential to determining its fitness for purpose. This is particularly so, if the application is for hostile environments. Changes to physical properties help to identify changes in the polymeric chemistry.

Physical properties include:

  Extent of cure View Section
  Glass transition temperature View Section
  Fibre volume fraction View Section
Coefficient of thermal expansion View Section
